Introducing the Panic Mic from Flagg Audio. It's a boutique specialty microphone built from a CB
transmitter for use on stage and in studio. The Panic Mic gives you lo-fi vintage tone with a 1/4" output
that allow you to run your vocals through stompboxes. It does this with a push-to-talk feature and a
tight pickup pattern meaning that even more distortion can be added to the vocal chain without
feedback. The Panic Mic is a must-have for vocalists looking to stand out and bend ears.

How do you use the Panic Mic live? A: You can run it through a guitar/keyboard amp alone (which is
often loud enough) or mic that amp. DI boxes and amp outputs also
work well to get the sound to the front of the house.
How does the Panic Mic differ from the Flagg Mic? A: The tone is slightly cleaner, it uses a 1/4" output with a
transformer instead of a transformerless XLR, the pickup pattern is
slightly tighter and it can function as push-to-talk. This mic is
somewhat less rugged than the Flagg Mic and comes in at $30
cheaper.
Why doesn't the Panic Mic need power? A: Some mics you may see elsewhere have either carbon or
electret elements that require phantom power or a battery to run. In
designing I found that these elements either didn't reject feedback
enough to be used live, weren't tough enough to rely on, or didn't
give the correct "vintage tone" I was looking for. Instead I went with
dynamic elements that require no external power to produce correct
volume levels.
Are PanicMics made from used materials? A: No. Panic Mics are made from 100% new materials.
What types of payments do you accept? A: We accept Credit/Debit and Paypal. This keeps both sides of the
transaction safe and secure.
How are domestic orders shipped? Free domestic shipping is Priority through USPS. A USPS tracking
number will be given after your order is shipped.
Will you ship to outside the US? A: Yes. Please be aware that international shipping takes upwards
of 14 days on our side and that your country's system can often
add more time onto that as well. If there's anything odd I should
know about your country's postal system please let me know ahead
of time.
Will you ship internationally free? A: Sure. Free international shipping is done through the USPS and
only offers limted tracking from the customs number. If you need
further tracking or insurance please contact us for a custom
shipping quote.
Do Panic Mics come with a warranty? A: Yes. Up to one year after your purchase we will fix or replace
your Panic Mic if it stops working due to manufacturer defects. Like
most mic dealers, we can't accept returns on used mics. It's a
hygiene/legal issue.
